Automatic Voltage Regulation

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps correct utility voltage fluctuations without immediately switching to battery operation. This helps preserve battery capacity for actual outages while maintaining stable power for connected equipment.

Pure Sine-Wave Battery Output

During battery operation, the SMT1000RM2UC provides pure sine-wave output, helping deliver strong compatibility with active-PFC power supplies, servers and other sensitive electronic equipment.

Six NEMA 5-15R Outlets

Six NEMA 5-15R AC outlets provide connections for multiple protected devices. The UPS uses a NEMA 5-15P input plug, making it suitable for compatible 120V rack installations.

SmartSlot & Switched Outlet Group

The integrated SmartSlot allows compatible APC management cards to be added when expanded UPS management capabilities are required. A separately controlled switched outlet group can also support discrete rebooting, sequenced power control and non-critical load shedding.

Intelligent Battery Management

The SMT1000RM2UC uses sealed lead-acid VRLA battery technology with temperature-compensated charging, automatic battery testing and predictive battery replacement information. The battery is hot-swappable and has an approximate recharge time of 3 hours.

Energy-Efficient Green Mode

APC's Green Mode bypasses unused electrical components during good utility conditions to help achieve high operating efficiency. A built-in energy meter also provides actual kilowatt-hour usage information for energy-conscious users.
